Ken Boa, Timothy & Christine Willard, Malcolm Guite, Steve Bell and Dr. Jerry Root.
Created in His image, the Creator of the universe has given his image-bearers the unique ability to bring beauty into the world as a means of illuminating divine truth. This compelling final installment of this series will examine how art can stir the soul and propel the imagination to wonder and awe at the glory of the One who made us. Highlighting the works of nineteenth-century American painter, Thomas Cole, among other notable artists and composers, Dr. Boa and other leading experts will discuss the deep theological and existential questions at the intersection of art history, theology, and personal reflection, providing insights into how created art can strengthen conviction on life's profound journey.

Grew up in Steeler country, learned to drive stick in an old Scout, and studied Greek and Hebrew in seminary. She loves homeschooling her three daughters (affectionately referred to as the "pixies.").
As a young woman in Seminary, her heart burned to understand the Word of God, and to communicate its truth to those around her. She knew from experience that it had the power to change lives. Little did I know then I would have the opportunity to do this first and foremost within my own home, tending to my family.
What you find here is a natural outpouring of years studying Scripture. A place where theological truths weave into our everyday moments of tending to our heart and home.
Whether I’m homeschooling the pixies or sitting on my front porch reading a book, these whispers of Beauty beg to be shared. Let’s tend to our hearts and homes and Mend!
